In May 2024, our Senior Fellow Nick Stroustrup will teach the workshop titled “What is a regression model, really? An introductory workshop on how to learn from noisy data“. This is the first workshop that to will take place at the Collaboratorium and that has been organised by one of our Senior Fellows.
The workshop will take place on the following days: 13, 15, 17th May 2024 and it will be divided in the following sessions:
- Session 1: What is a random variable and what does it have to do with my data set?
- Session 2: What is a regression model, really?
- Session 3: Examples and BYOD (Bring your own data)
All sessions will a consist of a 45-minute lecture and will be followed by a discussion. They will take place between 10:00 and 11:30 each day.
